Tragedy as Jacksonville Sheriff finds Missing 3-Year-Old Florida Boy inside Water Tank

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office has to make the unfortunate announcement that they've located a missing 3-year-old child's body; in a tragic end to what was a tireless effort to find the infant.

Assistant Chief Scott Dingle held a late night press conference to break the heart-wrenching news that three year old Amari Harley’s body was found inside of an underground tank at the Florida Water park where the search efforts have been underway to find the child.

Investigators believe that young Amari Harley may have found an opening to the tank and then wiggled his way into it becoming trapped and inevitably meeting his demise.

Amari Harley’s family reported him missing at around 5 PM yesterday at the Arlington water park where dozens of volunteers alongside more than 50 law enforcement had prayed they would find him in better conditions.

Dingee said that while family members had not yet identified the boy there was zero doubt that the body found was Amari based upon the clothing he was wearing and pictures they had of his description; also saying that his heart is broken for the family.

“This is still an active investigation,” he said during the news conference. “We don’t know how he got into the water tank at this time. We still have a lot of questions.”

It's a reminder to parents of small children to never take your eyes off your loved ones even for a second as well as to remind all family members how much you love them, because you don't know when it will be your last time seeing them and tragedy could strike at any minute.
