Police in Poland are scratching their heads about why a 27-year-old man seemed to go berserk in a store and started randomly stabbing customers. The attacker aimed for the chest and head injuring a total of 9 people, one woman has died from her injuries.
A police official named Krzysztof Pobuta says "no terrorist or ideological context for the attack, it is rather his poor psychological condition." A police officer named Anna Klee told PAP news the weapon used in the attack was a knife. The 27-year-old has no criminal history which only adds to the police confusion as to his motive for the rampage.
The attacker was subject to a breathalyzer which showed he was sober and are awaiting the results of a blood test to identify any substances in his system.
