Detectives in Lexington, Kentucky stumbled upon a grisly scene where a white woman was found murdered in cold blood and her body dumped beside a set of railroad tracks.
The Lexington Police Department identified the victim as 37 year old Meghan Lea Acord, who had recently became a mother now leaving behind a new child named Holden who would never get to see his mother again.
The County Coroner said that Meghan Acord had been brutally assaulted and determined those attacks to be the cause of death.
When officers found the corpse under the bridge on East Loudon Avenue near Eastland Drive on Sunday they could tell Meghan Acord was a homicide case but they then had to determine who was responsible for the crime, without any initial leads.

Friends and family of Meghan Acord in Ashland, Kentucky said that she was the “brightest thing in their lives and a loving mother to her child”, and they were heartbroken.
They had no clue as to who would have been responsible for hurting her and said she had no enemies and lived a normal life.
They recalled going to Holden Beach with Meghan when she was young; which was the happiest memories she had before giving birth that lead to her naming her baby Holden.
Eventually investigators received anonymous tips saying that a man, Valenti Ware, had allegedly bragged about committing the murder and robbery of the woman
Police then began searching for their suspect, but friends of Ware said he had fled the state and he may have headed into Iowa, which prompted Detectives to issue a warrant for first-degree murder against whom they believed to be their killer, Valenti N. Ware.
Then recently a tip with information on Ware’s location was obtained by the U.S. Marshals Central Kentucky Fugitive Task Force as to exactly where the savage responsible for demolishing a family was hiding.
Kentucky officials contacted their counterparts at the U.S. Marshals Southern Iowa Fugitive Task Force; who were then able to locate Ware at a residence in the 1400 block of Cleveland Avenue in Des Moines.

The Lexington Police Department has issued the State of Iowa with extradition papers and charges of first-degree murder as well as tampering with physical evidence against Ware.
He's currently being detained without bond in the Polk County Jail in Des Moines awaiting extradition proceedings.
